Thursday July 1st, 2021, Henri Jourdain, a French tomato producer, opened the doors of his greenhouse in Pierrelatte in the south of France to a group of journalists. This press conference was organized as part of the European program CuTE. Journalists had the opportunity to visit the production site and to discover all the characteristics and benefits of the greenhouse production model. Climate control, protection against external risks, optimized irrigation, water recycling, use of integrated biological protection to avoid the use of pesticides ... All these subjects were highlighted during the visit to prove that the greenhouse is indeed a place of sustainable farming.
At the end of the press conference, the journalists could taste the different types of tomatoes produced by Henri Jourdain. The opportunity to savor the quality of French tomatoes produced under greenhouses.
