• 3 red pepper
• 100g round rice
• 100g of meat
• 1/2 onion
• 2 cloves of garlic
• 2 tablespoons crushed tomato
• Salt and pepper
• Olive oil
• Grated cheese
To cook the rice, put twice as much water as rice in a saucepan. Bring it to a boil and then put a pinch of salt and rice.
Cut the head of the peppers and reserve. Then clean the inside of the pepper, removing all the white parts. Wash the peppers with water to remove the seeds and impurities.
To prepare the filling, put over medium heat in a pan, a drizzle of oil.
Add the tips of the peppers, onion and garlic. All well chopped. Cook about 5 minutes while stirring occasionally.
After that, add the minced meat. Crumble it with the spoon and mix it with the vegetables, cooking it for a couple of minutes. Add the tomato and some oregano. Stir and let cook 5 more minutes.
When everything is well cooked, remove the pan from the heat and add the rice that is already cooked. Mix with the rest of the ingredients.
Finally fill the peppers with this mixture of rice, meat and vegetables.
Once done, sprinkle with a little grated cheese and finally put them in the oven, previously heated to 200ºC. Leave them here for about 20 minutes.
