Last September, a group of French journalists were invited to discover during 2 days the characteristics of greenhouse production of French tomatoes and cucumbers on the occasion of the 21st Tomato and Flavor Festival, TOMATO LAB, born from the meeting of three experts of tomato in France.
During the first day of the trip, they had the opportunity to visit the greenhouse “Le Jardin de Rabelais” in Avoine and go in-depth on the particular characteristics of this production method.
The visit was followed by a dinner at the “Château de la Bourdaisière”- Montlouis-sur-Loire, with the participation of the Tomato Lab founders.
The next day, during breakfast, the journalists shared an exchange time with representatives of AOPn Tomate and Concombre de France about CuTE europena promotion programme activities.
In the afternoon, a press conference took place to disseminate the latest advances in development of new products with tomato as main ingredient.
