WORKSHOP PARIS

 

This round-table discussion, was organized on 17th May 2019 in the premise of AGROPARIS TECHS, in Paris (France) and brought together 10 participants from different fields such as producers, researchers, journalists and students. The main goal of this workshop was to exchange knowledge on greenhouse production method of strawberries: news, issues, and ways of working for the future to meet consumer expectations.

Divided in three parts: the zoom on the French strawberry production, advantages of production method and the challenges for the future.

Based on the exchange of ideas and different points of view, the leading conclusion is that it is important to raise awareness of greenhouse production while showing transparency and find solutions that meet consumers and producers expectations. All of this would be impossible without working on the environmental impact to choose the best solution.
