On November 20, 2019 in Warsaw, took place a workshop on the topic: “European model of apple production in order to create messages to promote apple consumption in Poland”.
The aim of the workshop was to explain the European apple production model, discuss the benefits of apple cultivation in the open air, generate a definition of the European apple production model for the purposes of the promotional campaign and determine how to communicate it.
The workshop was attended by experts, scientists, journalists, entrepreneurs and bloggers associated with apple production.
Workshop participants emphasized that the European apple production model should be seen in relation to the consumer, whose needs should be taken into account by producers.
The most important benefits of apple consumption are health, taste, high quality, natural production methods, tradition and ecology. These benefits should be communicated in messages addressed to target groups, mainly mothers, children and teachers.
